Driving Sir Richard

Our largest challenge was restraining the desire to enter the competition ourselves

We were excited to work on the Driving Sir Richard project because we’d wanted to work with the Google/YouTube API for quite some time, and this provided us with the perfect opportunity to get our hands dirty with the social media platform.

We were able to build a complete competitions management system that enabled entrants to upload their own video, view and rate other entries all without interfacing with YouTube. We also created a separate administration for the management of ‘Richard’s Picks’, as well as the moderation of submissions.
